God is Our Compass
Below are some scripture to meditate on when you are seeking direction. Write them on some note cards and read them throughout your day. The more we focus on the Word, the more we know and understand His will for us.
I
will be anxious for nothing. I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and
lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I will acknowledge Him and He
will direct my paths. (Phil 4:6a, Prov. 3:5-6)
I
am His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand. He who has begun a good work in me will continue it until the day
of Jesus Christ. (Eph 2:10, Phil 1:6)
The
Lord will guide me continually. His Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my
path. He is the One who goes with me. He will never leave or forsake me (Isa 58:11, Ps 119:105, Deut 31:6)
I
will commit my way to the Lord and trust in Him and He shall give me the
desires of my heart. He will instruct me and teach me in the ways in which I
should go. He will guide me with His eye. (Ps 37:4 – 5, Ps 32:8)
I
will seek first the Kingdom of God. The Lord will direct my heart into the love
of God and patience of Christ. The Holy Spirit will guide me into all truth. (Matt 6:33, 2 Thes 3:5, Jhn 16:13)
If
I need guidance or direction I will ask and it will be given to me, I will seek
and I will find, I will knock and the
door will opened to me for everyone who asks receives, and everyone who seeks
finds and to everyone who knocks it will be opened. (Mat 7:7-8)
The
Lord enlightens my darkness and makes my way perfect. He enlarges my path under
me so my feet do not slip. (2 Sam
22:29,33,37)
