God gives to each of us the measure of faith. When
we come to Him we have faith. It is up to us to act on that faith and to
increase that faith by filling ourselves with the Word and being doers of the
Word.
Faith
comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Rom 10:17)
Faith
is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I walk
by faith, not by sight. I do not look to those things which are seen for they
are temporary. I look to those things that are not seen, for those things that
are not seen are eternal. (Heb 11:1, 2
Cor 5:7, 4:18)
When
I come to God I must believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek
Him. I will uphold the shield of faith and resist the fiery darts of the evil
one. For the just shall live by
faith. (Heb 11:1, Eph 6:16. Hab 2:4)
When
I pray I will believe, and not doubt, that those things I ask for shall come to
pass. For if I have faith as a mustard seed nothing will be impossible to me.
(Mar 11:24, Matt 17:20)
I
have been justified by faith. I will fight the good fight of faith for the Lord
is my confidence. (Rom 5:1, 1 Tim 6:12)
I
live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me. I am
fully convinced that what God has promised He is fully able to perform. I will
not waver at the promises of God through unbelief but, be strengthened in
faith, giving glory to God. (Gal 2:20, Rom 4:21, 4:20)
I
will trust in the Lord for He who has begun a good work in me will complete it
until the day of Jesus Christ. ( Phil 1:6)
